In this surgical battle, we compare two different approaches for the treatment of complex acetabulum fractures. Prof. Fabian Stuby and Dr. Oliver Trapp are showing us a pararectus approach. Prof. Tim Pohlemann and Dr. Holger Stadthalter on the other side, are performing an ilioinguinal approach. PD Jochen Franke, as an imaging specialist, is supporting the surgeons with his experience. After completing the procedures, all surgeons come together and explain the pros and cons of the different techniques and when they are best to use. The session is moderated by Prof. Paul Alfred Grützner and Chris Morrey, MD.

This session was part of the World Surgery Tour Grand Final 2021 and featured by AO and the imaging partner is Siemens Healthineers.
